Indian cinema has produced several massive blockbusters over the years, but when franchise films and sequels are kept aside, the list of the highest-grossing standalone movies worldwide looks even more interesting. From  ‘s historic  to  ‘s  and ‘s  , these films have delivered exceptional numbers at the global box office.

Aamir Khan Dangal

At the top sits Dangal, which remains the biggest standalone Indian film worldwide with a reported gross of ₹2,034 crore. Starring Aamir Khan, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra, the sports drama achieved extraordinary success, particularly in the overseas market due to huge collections from China.

Dhurandhar

Dhurandhar takes the second position with ₹1,254 crore worldwide, followed by Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan at ₹1,157 croreJawan, also starring Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi, became one of the biggest commercial successes of SRK’s career.

Jawan

SS Rajamouli’s RRR, featuring Ram Charan and Jr NTR, stands at number four with ₹1,120 crore. Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s Pathaan follows with ₹1,048 crore, while Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone’s Kalki 2898 AD has collected ₹1,012 crore.

The remaining films in the list include Aamir Khan’s Secret Superstar with ₹905 crore, Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal with ₹904 crore, Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan with ₹902 crore, and Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava with ₹757 crore.
