Ranveer Singh has finally given his reply to the Federation of Western Indian Cine Employees (FWICE) after they issued a non-cooperation directive against him over the Don 3 dispute a few days ago. The Dhurandhar actor has taken a legal route and served a notice on the organisation after they took an action against over his unceremonious exit from Farhan Akhtar’s Don 3. According to media reports, Ranveer sent the legal notice to a film workers’ body on Tuesday (June 2). It has to be noted that there is no clear information available about what the Ram Leela actor sought in the notice.
Ranveer Singh Sends Legal Notice To FWICE
According to a Hindustan Times report, Ranveer Singh’s notice to FWICE is a strong action from the actor against the film workers’ wing. After his notice, the will be required to respond to it in the court.
For the unversed, FWICE had called for all its members not to work on any project featuring Ranveer Singh. The film body took the decision after Farhan Akhtar, the director and producer of Don 3, urged the wing, alleging Ranveer exited the project days before the shoot was to commence.

As per FWICE’s statement on May 25, Farhan and Ritesh Sidhwani demanded Rs 45 crore from Ranveer Singh as compensation for their losses. FWICE President Ashoke Pandit had told reporters at the press conference that the organisation sent multiple notices to Ranveer but received no response from his side. Pandit also clarified that the non-cooperation directive is not a ‘ban’ as had been claimed earlier.
After the notice, Ranveer Singh’s spokesperson shared a statement on behalf of the Band Baaja Baaraat actor. In the statement, the actor stated that he holds the highest regard for the film fraternity and people associated with Don 3. Throughout such developments, the actor consciously chose to maintain silence. The statement reads, “While several narratives and speculations have surfaced over time, Ranveer has never considered it necessary to respond publicly or contribute to conjecture. His focus remains firmly on his work and the commitments ahead.” (sic)
