Shilpa Shinde recently left everyone startled with her honest confession. On Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa’s podcast, the actress revealed that she made false s*xual harassment allegations against producer Sanjay Kohli. The television actress made this statement after a decade of quitting the television show, which aired on &TV. After her statement stirred reactions online, Shilpa exclusively spoke to Zoom/ Telly Talk. In conversation with us, the TV elaborated on making false accusations against her show’s producer, and recalled being blamed and harassed. Read on to know what she shared!

During an exclusive chat, said, “Mujhe tang kiya jaa raha tha. Mere baare mein kisiko batane ki zaroorat hi nahi hai. Aaj main stand kar rahi hu, toh honesty ke upar hi hu. Mere paas raasta hi nahi tha. Mere pe itne crore ka blame tha. Show chal raha hai lekin mujhe kaam nahi karne de rahe the ke aap kaam nahi kar sakte.”

The television actress added that the entire industry was on one side, while she was all alone. Despite that, the actress wasn’t affected. Wondering why? “Kyunki mujhe koi khilaane ya pilaane nahi aa raha tha,” she added. Shilpa further revealed why it was necessary for her to let everyone know a good person feels when they’re defamed for no reason.
“But law ke hisaab se mujhe jaise harass kiya jaa raha tha, agar swabhimani koi meri jagah koi dusri ladki hoti toh, mera toh tha ki main naam likhke chali jau. Lekin main agar marr gayi aur suicide kar liya toh chaar din ke baad sab chooth jayenge, aur mujhe buz dil kahenge,” she mentioned. (Loose translation – Legally, I was being harassed. If any other self-respecting girl had been in my place, I would have written my name and left. But if I died by suicide, then after four days everyone would be free, and they would call me a coward,)
Shilpa Shinde recalls being blamed
Continuing the chat, the Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai actress recalled she was accused of demanding clothes and money even after she dedicated many years of her life to the industry. The actress alleged that she was humiliated and thrown out of CINTAA.

“After joining CINTAA, I was humiliated and expelled. I was harassed at the lowest level possible. So, I left the show and it was very important for me to explain what defamation is and how a good person feels when you defame them. Legally, I had no other option,” she mentioned in Hindi.
