DPL 2026: Purani Dilli 6 Enters Eliminator With Commanding 7-Wicket Win Over Outer Delhi Warriors

 Purani Dilli 6 defeated Outer Delhi Warriors by seven wickets in the Eliminator of the Delhi Premier League (DPL) 2026 to book their place in Qualifier 2.

Outer Delhi Warriors were bowled out for 179 in 19.4 overs after posting a competitive total. Priyansh Arya led the batting effort with a well-made 57 off 32 balls, while Akshay Saini added a quick 42 off 26 balls to give the Warriors a strong finish.

For Purani Dilli 6, Rajneesh Dadar picked up three wickets but conceded 47 runs in his 3.4 overs. Udhav Mohan was the standout bowler, taking two wickets for just 25 runs in his four overs. Dev Lakra also impressed with the ball, claiming two wickets for 14 runs in two overs.

Chasing 180, Purani Dilli 6 lost Samarth Seth early for 5 off four balls, but Aryan Gaur and Dev Lakra quickly took control of the chase. The pair added 67 runs for the second wicket, keeping the required run rate under control.

Gaur scored a useful 36 off 23 balls, but it was Lakra who took the attack to the Warriors. He smashed an impressive 82 off just 32 balls, hitting boundaries at regular intervals and putting Purani Dilli 6 firmly in control.

With the chase entering its final stage, captain Anuj Rawat took charge. He played an unbeaten knock of 52 off 25 balls and finished the chase in style, taking his team to victory with seven wickets in hand at the Arun Jaitley Stadium that will host international matches between India and Afghanistan.

The win keeps Purani Dilli 6’s DPL 2026 campaign alive. They will now face Central Delhi Kings in Qualifier 2, with the winner earning the right to take on South Delhi Superstarz in the final.
