Actress Meenakshi Chaudhary has shared a candid message about self-acceptance, saying that embracing imperfections, respecting difficult days and being authentic are all “kinda chic” in an age dominated by social media.
The actress, known for her work in Telugu and Tamil cinema including the blockbuster Lucky Bhaskar, shared her thoughts on Instagram while reflecting on the pressure to present an idealised version of life online.
“It’s kinda chic to be human and real with all your imperfections that make you ‘you’ even when social media tells you otherwise,” she wrote.
Chaudhary also urged people to accept their difficult phases instead of feeling compelled to celebrate only their best moments.
“It’s kinda chic to respect and accept your low days as much as you enjoy and celebrate your great days. It’s your first time doing life too! Be gentle with yourself!” she said.
The actress added that believing in something strongly enough to make it part of one’s life story was also “kinda chic”. She further highlighted the importance of appreciating people who stand by someone through their highs and lows.
“It’s kinda chic to give yourself the love that you so selflessly give others, you deserve it too,” she concluded.
Chaudhary has also used her social media platforms to caution followers about impersonation. In June, she warned fans about an individual allegedly posing as her and asked people receiving messages or calls from the number to report it.
On the work front, Chaudhary is set to star opposite Naga Chaitanya in Vrushakarma, an upcoming Telugu adventure thriller directed by Karthik Varma Dandu. She plays the character Daksha in the film. The project is produced by BVSN Prasad, with Sukumar credited with the story, and features music by B. Ajaneesh Loknath. Chaudhary’s casting as Daksha is also listed in current film databases.
The film, which involves extensive visual effects and fantasy elements, is currently in post-production, with its official release date yet to be announced.
