Earlier this year, Renault announced its global FutuREady mid-term strategy for 2030. The French automaker also aims to strengthen its presence in the Indian market with seven new models and two new architectures, which will underpin future ICE, CNG, electric and hybrid models.
While the new-generation Duster was the brand’s biggest product launch for this year, the carmaker is now gearing up to introduce four new models by 2027. The upcoming range will include the Duster hybrid, 7-seater Duster, Bridger subcompact SUV and Kwid facelift.
Renault Duster Hybrid
The is slated to go on sale during the 2026 Diwali season. The SUV will feature a 1.8-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine paired with two electric motors and a 1.4kWh battery pack. This setup delivers a combined power of 160bhp and 172Nm of torque. Renault called this powertrain the E Tech system, which is derived from the brand’s Formula 1 expertise.
7-Seater Renault Duster
The will share its platform, powertrains, components, features and design elements with its 5-seater sibling. However, it will be longer and more spacious to accommodate a third-row of seats.
Renault Bridger
Renault has also planned a new sub-4 metre rugged lifestyle SUV designed and developed for the Indian market. Called the , the SUV could be based on the modular R-GMP platform and come with multiple engine options including petrol, fully electric and hybrid. The petrol version might share its powertrain with the Kiger. Similar to its concept, the production-ready version is expected to feature a boxy and upright stance.
2027 Renault Kwid Facelift
The new Renault Kwid facelift is currently in its initial testing phase and is expected to arrive by late 2027. The latest spy images reveal that the hatchback will receive design changes inspired by the Kwid E-Tech including a newly-designed enclosed grille. The front bumper and headlamp clusters will also be revised. The 2027 Renault Kwid facelift will get a new TFT instrument cluster along with several new features.
