Kareena Kapoor Khan & Prithviraj Sukumaran drop a new chilling poster for Daayra; Trailer on August 31 –

The makers of   have unveiled a new poster featuring  and  ,offering a glimpse into the intense world of the upcoming crime thriller. The film’s trailer is set to be released on August 31, and the new poster has already raised questions about the connection between the two characters.

In the poster, Kareena and Prithviraj are seen standing back-to-back, surrounded by police tape, while a blurred face can be spotted in the background. The striking image hints at two different perspectives and suggests that there is much more to their characters than what meets the eye.

 The police tape also creates a clear sense of mystery, leaving audiences wondering about the events that bring the two characters together. With the story being kept under wraps, the poster manages to build curiosity ahead of the trailer launch.

Daayra marks the first collaboration between Junglee Pictures and Pen Studios. It also brings filmmaker  back to Junglee Pictures for the third time after  and  . The film marks Kareena Kapoor Khan and Prithviraj Sukumaran’s first on-screen collaboration.

Inspired by true events, the crime thriller is directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Meghna Gulzar. The screenplay is written by Yash Keswani, Sima Agarwal and Meghna Gulzar.

Produced by Junglee Pictures and Dr. Jayantilal Gada of Pen Studios, and distributed by Pen Marudhar, Daayra is scheduled to release in cinemas on September 18, 2026. The much-awaited trailer will be unveiled on August 31, giving audiences their first detailed look at the story and characters.
