Mid-size SUVs remain the segment of choice for Indian families, offering a balance of space, safety and fuel efficiency. With prices largely falling between Rs 10 lakh and Rs 26 lakh, the segment now includes hybrid, petrol and diesel options with six airbags, panoramic sunroofs and ADAS as standard or near standard.

Hyundai Creta

Hyundai Creta is priced from Rs 10.91 lakh to Rs 20.11 lakh, with three engine options including a 1.5 litre petrol, a 1.5 litre turbo petrol and a 1.5 litre diesel. The diesel manual returns an ARAI mileage of 21.8 kmpl. Six airbags come as standard, with a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats and Level 2 ADAS available on higher trims.

Kia Seltos

Kia Seltos, updated for its second generation, is priced from Rs 11 lakh to Rs 21.82 lakh. It comes with a 1.5 litre petrol, a 1.5 litre turbo petrol and a 1.5 litre diesel, returning up to 17 kmpl.
