The event marked Rashmika Mandanna’s first public appearance since undergoing surgery following an injury sustained while shooting for Mysaa. The actor had earlier taken a break from her professional commitments to focus on her recovery.

Rashmika Mandanna had opened up about the injury on Instagram, revealing that it was her third injury in succession. She also admitted that she had initially hoped to keep the injury private. The actor in her post mentioned that one of the tendons in her right hip had detached during a dance sequence for Mysaa. She said she needed to recover before she could regain full movement in her leg.

In the same update she details the issues of her injury as something that happened during the shoot of Mysaa, which she called the most physically demanding film she had worked on. She explained that there are four tendons on each side of the hip connecting the hip to the leg, and one tendon on her right side had detached. She said the tendon needed to reattach before she could comfortably lift her leg again. Despite the setback, Rashmika Mandanna maintained an optimistic outlook and assured fans that she was coping with the situation. She has been recovering at home following the surgery and has not yet returned to filming.

On the work front, Rashmika was last seen in the Hindi film Cocktail 2. She will next headline Mysaa, directed by Rawindra Pulle. The actor will also reunite with Vijay Deverakonda in Rahul Sankrityan’s Ranabaali.
