Mumbai: Actors Anushka Ranjan and Aditya Seal embraced parenthood as they welcomed their twin baby girls on August 23.
The couple shared the happy news in a joint social media post on Sunday, August 23, revealing that their daughters were named as Vira Ranjan Seal and Mahi Ranjan Seal.
The couple shared an adorable illustrated announcement featuring two baby girls surrounded by flowers, butterflies, birds and a pastel-coloured garden setting.
The text on the announcement read, “we are very excited to share the news! Our hearts are full as you welcome our baby girls Vira Ranjan Seal and Mahi Ranjan Seal. Born on 23.08.2026. Anushka and Aditya.”
Aditya and Anushka’s captioned it as, “My sunshine’s are here to brighten our lives Our hearts are full of love and gratitude. Vira Mahi #TeamGirl.”
The couple’s post came after they had announced their pregnancy earlier this year, marking a new chapter nearly five years after their wedding.
Anushka and Aditya had announced that they were expecting their first child on May 29, 2026, through a joint social media post accompanied by a maternity photoshoot.
In the pictures, Anushka was seen flaunting her baby bump in a black bodycon dress, while Aditya wore a black outfit with “Baap” written in Hindi on his T-shirt.
The emotional caption accompanying their pregnancy announcement read, “I’ve waited a hundred years, But I’d wait a million more for you. Nothing prepared me for, What the privilege of being yours would do.”
The couple had initially spoken about their IVF journey, where Anushka opened up about the difficult journey she and Aditya went through while trying to start a family. She revealed that she underwent IVF and took around 150 injections during the process.
Talking about Anushka and Aditya, they got married on November 21, 2021, in Mumbai after being in a relationship for a few years.
