‘This India Will Fight’: Yashasvi Jaiswal Hits Back At Harsha Bhogle Over Remark On Asitha Fernando Face-Off

Yashasvi Jaiswal minced no words as he made a sharp attack on Harsha Bhogle over his remarks on Jaiswal’s confrontation with Asitha Fernando.

The two players were involved in a fiery clash after Fernando dismissed Jaiswal and gave him a send-off. Something was said to Jaiswal that he didn’t like, and he returned to confront Fernando. The two players nearly clashed heads before being separated.

Jaiswal, while replying to Bhogle on Instagram, asked him not to make the judgment without knowing what was said.

“If you don’t know what he said, then please don’t make your judgment if anyone crosses the line; we need to let them know this India will fight and reply,” wrote .

What Did Harsha Bhogle Say On Jaiswal-Fernando Face-Off?

Harsha Bhogle wasn’t pleased with Jaiswal responding to Fernando and said that the best answer would have been to simply walk away. He also said that Jaiswal himself provokes the players so he should be fine to take it too.

“While the send-off may have been unnecessary and Jaiswal was clearly provoked, the best response would have been to simply walk away. Jaiswal is an extraordinarily talented batter, but his combative nature can sometimes get the better of him. He provokes as well, so he must be prepared to take it too. This is Test cricket, but the players got a little too close for comfort, and Jaiswal must ensure that such incidents do not overshadow his batting ability,” Bhogle said on Cricbuzz.

‘Jaiswal Shouldn’t Have Gone So Close’ – Sitanshu Kotak

Meanwhile, India batting coach Sitanshu Kotak had also said that Jaiswal shouldn’t have gone so close to the bowler, saying that these things happen in the heat of the moment.

“I think the bowler commented something and it happened in the heat of the moment. Obviously Jaiswal shouldn’t have gone so close to him but it happened in the heat of the moment,” Sitanshu Kotak said.
