Bajaj Auto’s upcoming adventure motorcycle has been spied testing once again, revealing important new details about its engine and equipment. The latest images provide the clearest look yet at the motorcycle’s air-cooled powertrain, digital instrument console and switchgear. Hat tip to Dhiraj On Trails for sharing the spy shots.
Bajaj’s first dedicated adventure motorcycle is expected to launch in India before reaching international markets such as Brazil. Waldyr Ferreira have already indicated that the motorcycle will arrive before the end of 2026.

Pulsar N250-Derived Engine Likely
Earlier test mules had generated speculation about Bajaj using a KTM-derived liquid-cooled engine. However, the latest images provide a much clearer look at the engine and appear to rule out that possibility.
Prominent cooling fins are visible on the cylinder, while there is no large radiator associated with a liquid-cooled setup. This indicates that the upcoming ADV will use an air/oil-cooled engine, most likely the 249cc unit from Pulsar N250.

On Pulsar N250, this single-cylinder engine produces 24.5 PS and 21.5 Nm and is paired with a 5-speed gearbox. Bajaj could revise its gearing and engine tuning to provide stronger low-end and mid-range performance suitable for touring and light off-road use.
Using the N250 engine will also allow Bajaj to keep production costs and pricing under control. The new ADV is expected to rival Hero Xpulse 210, Suzuki V-Strom SX and Yezdi Adventure, making affordability an important part of the package.

New TFT Instrument Console Spotted
Another major detail revealed by the latest spy shots is the fully digital TFT instrument cluster. The display unit appears similar to the unit introduced recently with the .
On N160 4V, the TFT supports smartphone connectivity, Google Maps mirroring, notifications, music controls and multiple display functions. While the exact features available on the ADV have not been confirmed, Bajaj could offer a similar connectivity package.

Navigation support will be particularly relevant for an adventure tourer expected to be used for highway journeys and exploration. The handlebar switchgear also appears similar to the new N160 4V setup, further suggesting that the two motorcycles will share electronic components.
The switches should allow the rider to operate the TFT and connected functions without removing a hand from the handlebar. Whether features such as multiple riding modes and switchable traction control will be offered remains to be seen.

Adventure-Focused Hardware
The motorcycle continues to feature a large front beak, upright riding position and a tall handlebar. A long single-piece seat provides adequate room for the rider and pillion, while the test mule is equipped with a large rear top box.
Wire-spoke wheels are paired with dual-purpose tyres, with a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear combination likely. Suspension duties are handled by conventional telescopic forks and a rear monoshock. Generous ground clearance and the high-mounted exhaust further underline its adventure-focused positioning.

The presence of a saree guard confirms that the motorcycle is being developed for the Indian market. Most of its bodywork also appears to be nearing production form, although the headlamp and front section remain heavily camouflaged.
India Launch Expected In 2026
The motorcycle could be launched under the Trekker name, which Bajaj has already trademarked. An Indian launch is expected around the 2026 festive season, followed by its introduction in Brazil before Christmas.

Bajaj Brazil has confirmed that multiple units are already undergoing component development and homologation in Manaus. With Indian road testing continuing and more production-spec equipment now visible, an official unveiling appears to be getting closer.
