Fashion designer Manish Malhotra has described his experience of creating Kiara Advani’s looks for her character Nadia in the upcoming action thriller Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups as a “fabulous journey”.
Malhotra shared pictures of Kiara in a classic black velvet lace saree, complemented by statement earrings, a sleek high bun and subtle makeup. The look was styled by Lakshmi Lehr.
Sharing the photographs on social media, Malhotra said his association with the film began with its first schedule in Bengaluru and continued through the Mumbai schedule.
“It’s been a fabulous journey of designing Kiara’s look and costumes for the character Nadia that she plays in @thenameisyash director @geetu_mohandas #TOXIC from the first schedule in Banglore to mumbai,” he wrote.
He added that working on the film would remain a memorable experience for everyone involved.
Kiara also acknowledged Malhotra’s contribution to her Toxic looks while sharing glimpses of her promotional visit to Hyderabad.
The actress thanked the city for the warm response to the film and expressed gratitude to Malhotra for creating her saree and designing Nadia’s costumes.
“Hyderabad, you were Everything! Thank you for celebrating Toxic with us and making our promotions so special. The love, energy and madness will stay with me!” Kiara wrote.
She described the collaboration with Malhotra as special and thanked him for “bringing his magic to Toxic through Nadias costumes”.
Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups stars Yash in a dual role alongside Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth.
The action thriller is scheduled to release in theatres on August 26, 2026.
