Day 2: With another massive day, Irumudi on course to become Ravi Teja’s biggest hit

Ravi Teja starrer “Irumudi” has set the box office on fire. The film maintained its strong momentum on Day 2, with collections in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana slightly higher than Day 1. In North America, the film recorded an even bigger number than its opening day. As a result, the worldwide gross on Day 2 remained very strong.

On Day 2, “Irumudi” grossed around Rs 18 crore in India and another Rs 5 crore overseas, taking its second-day worldwide gross to approximately Rs 23 crore. With this, the film’s two-day worldwide gross stands at around Rs 46.5 crore.

The film is expected to have another strong day on Sunday, with its first weekend worldwide gross likely to be around Rs 70 crore.

At this pace, “Irumudi” is on course to enter the Rs 100 crore club and potentially become the biggest hit of Ravi Teja’s career. The film has already achieved its break-even mark in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

“Irumudi” is a revenge action drama that blends family and devotional elements. Directed by Shiva Nirvana, the film has music by GV Prakash Kumar.
