Actress Anushka Ranjan has expressed frustration over Mumbai’s traffic congestion and pothole-ridden roads, saying the city’s road conditions and constant delays have been deeply unsettling.
Anushka took to social media to share a picture of herself stuck in heavy traffic, with vehicles lined up along a Mumbai road.
Expressing her anger, she wrote: “This city is a sh*t hole!!! Constant traffic and the potholes are shaking me to my core.. sickening, pathetic, yuck Thuuu!”
Her remarks come amid continued concerns among Mumbai residents over traffic bottlenecks, potholes and infrastructure-related problems across the city.
Born and brought up in Mumbai, Anushka has been associated with the Hindi entertainment industry for more than a decade. She made her acting debut with the 2015 romantic comedy Wedding Pullav and later appeared in films such as Batti Gul Meter Chalu. She has also featured in the web series Fittrat.
Anushka is the daughter of filmmaker and producer Shashi Ranjan and actor and television personality Anu Ranjan.
On the personal front, Anushka married actor Aditya Seal on November 21, 2021, in Mumbai after dating for several years. The couple is now preparing to welcome their first child.
They announced the pregnancy in May 2026 through a series of maternity photographs, with Anushka describing it as one of their “most awaited dreams”. She later revealed that the baby is expected in September.
Speaking about her pregnancy journey in her YouTube vlog, Anushka said she was initially nervous about making the announcement but felt reassured by the warm response from family, friends and well-wishers.
In June, the couple also held a traditional Godh Bharai ceremony with their families and shared glimpses of the intimate celebration on social media.
