Kangana Ranaut calls herself Gen Alpha
On Saturday, Kangana, who is an avid social media user, shared a reel of a girl acting like a Gen Z while promoting eating lettuce.
“Gen Alpha roasting Gen Z is pure gold.” Sharing the video, Kangana wrote, “It is official I identify as Gen Alpha. Gen Alpha is like come to the point, no nonsense detected.”
Sharing another video featuring a young child dressed as a soldier, she wrote, “Gen Alpha is bleeding tricolour.”
Kangana Ranaut vs Gen Z
In July, the NEET protest at Jantar Mantar dominated headlines across the nation and ended on a winning note after the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. While all this was happening, Ranaut triggered another controversy when she slammed the Gen Z protestors and called them ‘Generation Gutter.’ She pointed out their abusive language and slogans against top leaders and also questioned the participants’ upbringing and their parents.
”Never in my life have I seen so much ugliness in one place; these reels from Gen Z protests are puke-inducing. The way they speak and the kind of language they are using, never in my life have I seen everything in each and every frame so jarring and so crass all at once, ewwww who is birthing and raising them? Here is a new generation of so-called westernised Indian women. I call them generation gutter,” she wrote. For her comments, the actress faced severe backlash across social media.
A few days back, she also slammed veteran actress Sharmila Tagore over her views on the Vande Mataram row
