New Mini Countryman C: Engine
The newbie in the Countryman range will have a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol direct-injection engine. For transmission chores, it will use a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Though the exact specifications for this variant are still under wraps, the engine is expected to be the three-cylinder unit derived from the BMW X1. That particular motor delivers 136hp and 230Nm.
For reference, the more performance-oriented Countryman JCW All4 uses a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that produces a significantly higher 300hp and 400Nm.

New Mini Countryman C: Design and Features
There will be no stark difference in the overall design except for a few things, like a revised grille. The SUV gives a sporty vibe with a blacked door pillars and a contrasting roof. The LED lighting, body colour-finished door handles, and alloy wheels will also be part of the look. Mini will offer the Countryman C in Nanuq White, Chilli Red, British Racing Green, Slate Blue, and Smokey Green colour options.
Inside, the SUV will keep a modern layout, as expected from modern Minis. The unique accents, a dual-tone theme, a central touchscreen, paddle shifters, and a high-end audio system will enhance the premium quotient of the model while keeping it highly comfortable and tech-savvy.
New Mini Countryman C: Expected Price
As already mentioned, the all-new Countryman C will be a CKD (Completely Knocked Down) unit, so Mini is expected to price it more competitively in the luxury SUV segment. It will fetch lower than the top-spec Countryman JCW All4, which currently retails at Rs 64.9 lakh (ex-showroom). In the Indian market, the Countryman C will be the entry point into the new-generation Countryman lineup.
