The KGF star recently took time out of his demanding schedule to personally connect with a fan undergoing cancer treatment, and the genuine gesture has touched social media users across the country. A video of  speaking to the fan via video call has gone viral online, with many praising the actor for his kindness and compassion.

According to a video going viral online, Yash recently spoke with Sunil, the Shivamogga district president of his fan association, who is currently battling cancer. Despite being occupied with multiple high-profile film projects, the actor made sure to check on his fan personally and offer encouragement during a difficult period.

A video circulating on social media shows Yash warmly interacting with Sunil through a video call. During the conversation, the actor enquired about his health and treatment while also speaking to members of his family. Yash’s words of support left many viewers emotional. The actor reassured Sunil that he was not alone in his battle against the disease. In a touching moment, Yash told him, “I am there for you,” offering comfort and strength to the fan and his family.

Soon after the video surfaced online, fans began sharing clips and screenshots of the interaction. One fan who posted the video on X praised the actor’s gesture, writing, “Rocking Star Yash responded immediately upon hearing about his fan’s ill health and gave him courage by saying, ‘I am there for you!'”

While his latest act of kindness has won hearts, Yash also has an exciting line-up of films ahead. The actor will next be seen in Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, directed by Geetu Mohandas. The ambitious project has been filmed in both Kannada and English and will be released in multiple languages, including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam. The film has been delayed many times and the final release date is not out yet. The film boasts an impressive ensemble cast featuring Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth alongside Yash.

Apart from Toxic, Yash is preparing for one of the most eagerly awaited films in Indian cinema,   Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the epic adaptation will see Yash take on the powerful role of Ravana. Ranbir Kapoor will portray Lord Ram, while Sai Pallavi will be seen as Sita. Planned as a two-part cinematic event, Ramayana Part 1 is scheduled to release worldwide during Diwali 2026.

Meanwhile, fans are also eagerly waiting for KGF Chapter 3. Addressing the anticipation, Yash recently told Variety that he is fully aware of the excitement surrounding the franchise. However, he stressed that the team will move forward with the project only when the timing feels right. “Everybody is waiting for KGF 3. But we’ll do it when it’s time, when it’s right,” Yash said, adding that the goal is not to simply capitalise on the franchise’s popularity but to ensure audiences remain genuinely excited about the next chapter.
