Actor Bhagyashree Borse, known for her Telugu and Tamil films, is not part of T-Series’ upcoming film starring Aditya Roy Kapur and directed by Milap Zaveri, the production house has clarified.
Speculation around the film’s female lead had been doing the rounds after a Filmfare report said that Borse, of Mr. Bachchan and Kaantha fame, had been finalised to star opposite Kapur in the project. However, T-Series has now dismissed the report and said the actor is not associated with the film.
A T-Series spokesperson said in a press statement, “The reports of Bhagyashree Borse being a part of T-Series and Milap Zaveri’s upcoming project with are untrue. The production house will officially announce the actress soon.”
The yet-to-be-titled project has been generating interest because of its collaboration between Kapur, Zaveri and T-Series. While details about the film, including its storyline, are being kept under wraps, speculation around its female lead has added to the buzz.
With Borse’s casting now ruled out, the identity of the film’s leading lady remains under wraps. T-Series is expected to make an official announcement soon.
The clarification also comes ahead of the film’s formal cast announcement, with the production house making it clear that no name should be considered confirmed until it is officially announced.
