India vs Pakistan clash in the Asia Cup 2025 uncertain amid rising tensions

The reports also suggested that the biggest match of the tournament-India vs. Pakistan-is likely to be held on September 7. However, there is uncertainty surrounding the fixture due to the military tensions between India and Pakistan following the Pahalgam attack.

India vs England Lord’s Test heads into Final Day with 135 runs to win

Meanwhile, the Indian cricket team is currently on the England tour for the five-match Test series, which is currently tied at 1-1, with both teams now battling it out at Lord’s in the third game. For the third time in the ongoing Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy, the Test match heads into Day 5 with both the India and England teams still in the race for victory.

The Shubman Gill-led Indian cricket team looked like the favorites when they began their chase of a paltry target of 193 in the fourth innings, but a late collapse changed the equation at Lord’s. In just 17.4 overs before stumps, India lost four key wickets, giving England a real chance to snatch the win.

With 135 runs still needed, the task is far from easy for the touring side, especially on a pitch that’s starting to offer immense help to the bowlers. Now, all eyes will be on KL Rahul and Rishabh Pant, who will resume the innings on Day 5 at Lord’s.

Earlier, Yashasvi Jaiswal fell for a duck, while Karun Nair’s poor form continued in his comeback Test series, falling cheaply for just 14.

Indian captain Shubman Gill failed to carry forward his sublime form at Lord’s, as he could manage only 16 and 6 in the ongoing third Test match against England. Akash Deep came as a night watchman and was cleaned bowled by Ben Stokes for an 11-ball single at Lord’s.
