Rishabh Pant scored his 20th Test fifty and was the quickest to hit 100 sixes in Tests
India’s wicket-keeper/batsman Rishabh Pant became the fastest player to reach 100 sixes in Test cricket and the fourth to do so.
Pant brought up his 20th fifty in Tests with a six off Lahiru Kumara which was also his 100th six in Tests. He completed the haul in just his 89th innings making him the fastest batter to achieve the feat. He is the first Indian and the fourth overall to record this achievement.
Adam Gilchrist (in 89 innings), Ben Stokes (151) and Brendon McCullum (170) are the other fastest players to hit 100 Test sixes.
