What to expect from the new Skoda Slavia
The facelift will retain the basic proportions of the existing Slavia but is expected to get a revised front grille, updated LED lighting elements and redesigned bumpers. New alloy wheels and revised tail lamps are also expected.
Inside, the overall dashboard layout is expected to remain familiar, with possible upgrades including a larger digital driver’s display, revised upholstery and additional equipment. The existing 10.25-inch infotainment system, sunroof, wireless charging, automatic climate control and six airbags are expected to continue.
One of the biggest mechanical changes could be the introduction of a new 8-speed torque-converter automatic gearbox with the 1.0-litre TSI engine. The 1.5-litre TSI is expected to continue with its 7-speed DSG automatic option.
The facelift will continue with the 1.0-litre and 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engines, with the larger engine producing around 150hp.
