Suriya’s latest release, Vishwanath And Sons (VAS), opened to positive reviews in both Tamil and Telugu and is now heading towards blockbuster status. Considering the talk and bookings, trade circles believe that VAS could comfortably score a success at the box office.
In fact, there is no major competition for VAS in either Tamil or Telugu at present. Films like Spider-Man, DC and Korean Kanakaraju have already enjoyed a good run and are gradually slowing down at the ticket windows. This gives VAS a strong opportunity to hold well through this weekend and into the next week.
VAS has a breakeven target of around ₹200 crore gross world wide. Given the positive talk, strong word of mouth and lack of major competition in both the Tamil and Telugu markets, VAS is likely to reach the mark comfortably.
