Toxic: A Fairytale For Grown-Ups, starring Yash and five gorgeous ladies, is all set to release in theatres later this month after multiple delays. Fans simply cannot wait to witness what director Geethu Mohandas has in store for them. Set in post-Independence Goa, the movie revolves around a gangster. While it has been receiving mixed reviews for its portrayal of women, the hype remains at an all-time high. Amid this, the makers of the film held a grand music launch in Mumbai on Thursday (August 13). It was attended by the entire team, except Nayanthara. There, Yash fondly spoke about working with Rukmini Vasanth, Tara Sutaria, Kiara Advani and Huma Qureshi.

At the event, was asked to describe his co-stars in a few words. Speaking about Rukmini Vasanth, he called her a “lambi race ka ghoda” and said that she would go a long way. He also praised her for putting in a lot of preparation for the film.
Praising for her “beauty,” Yash added, “Somebody told me last night, ‘In your whole movie, the character she is playing looks authentic. I can see a Disney queen or character of that era.’ That makes me really conscious while standing next to her. Am I looking according to the period? Because she’s so good-looking and that’s making me feel a little local.”

“Huma is somebody who’s like one of ours. She never came in like just an actor. For me, she’s somebody who is standing there to build this industry. She’s got the guts. She can go and challenge herself, do something. I’m very sure that in the near future, people will see her capacity to the fullest. Not just , but the path she has chosen, I feel she will be here for a long time,” said Yash.
Yash also praised Kiara Advani as a highly professional actor. He recalled being worried about her because of the film’s demanding sequences, especially while she was pregnant. Yash said Kiara remained fully committed to the project, while he and director Geetu Mohandas took extra care of her on set. He joked that they became her “bouncers and bodyguards.”
