The Sony and Marvel superhero film has earned about $704.5 million in North America and a whopping $1.8 billion globally in just two weekends of release. Soon after its July 30 release, the latest MCU offering became one of the biggest theatrical hits of the year. Starring Tom Holland in the titular role, the movie also brings back Zendaya as MJ and Jacob Batalon as Ned.
