Actress Ananya Panday and her cousin-brother Ahaan Panday were among the Panday family members who reacted with surprise and excitement after learning that influencer Alanna Panday is expecting her second child.
Alanna recently shared the family’s reactions in a vlog on her YouTube channel, documenting how she broke the pregnancy news to her loved ones.
Instead of making a direct announcement, Alanna showed family members a framed sonography image and asked them to guess the surprise. The vlog features reactions from her mother Deanne Panday, Ananya, Ahaan, grandmother and uncle Chunky Panday.
For Ananya, Alanna used her son River to reveal the news. The little boy held a tiny cap as part of the surprise, prompting Ananya to quickly realise that Alanna was pregnant again.
Ananya reacted with excitement, saying she had a feeling that another piece of good news was on the way.
Ahaan was equally surprised and delighted by the announcement, reacting with an astonished, “Again?!”
Alanna and her husband Ivor McCray welcomed their first child, Edward Ivor “River” McCray VI, in July 2024. Alanna had shared her pregnancy journey with her followers during that period.
The couple married in Mumbai in March 2023 after dating for several years. Their wedding celebrations were attended by several Bollywood personalities and members of the Panday family.
The latest pregnancy announcement comes nearly two years after the birth of their first child.
