Bollywood is another industry where Sreeleela is investing her time. She is making her Hindi debut with the Anurag Basu-directed film starring Kartik Aaryan. She is also part of Diler, directed by Kunal Deshmukh and produced by Maddock Films, alongside Ibrahim Ali Khan. A recent report also says Sreeleela and Janhvi Kapoor are set to feature in an untitled romantic thriller directed by Umesh Bist, which is expected to begin production later this year.
Her career shift comes after a phase where Sreeleela signed films at a fast pace in Telugu. She worked with several established stars and had strong visibility across the industry. For now, it would be premature to say that Telugu filmmakers have completely moved away from Sreeleela. Tollywood continues to be an important market for her, and a successful film in another language could change the situation quickly.
