NTR will undergo shoulder surgery today at KIMS Hospitals in Hyderabad following a medical evaluation of the injury he sustained during an activity on July 27.
The actor’s surgery has been scheduled after doctors assessed the shoulder injury. A team of doctors will oversee the procedure and his recovery. The number of days NTR will need to remain on rest and when he can resume shooting will be determined following the surgery.
NTR is currently working on director Prashanth Neel’s Dragon, which is scheduled for release in June 2027. Rukmini Vasanth plays the female lead in the film.
Despite NTR’s absence, Neel has continued shooting portions involving other actors and sequences that do not require NTR’s presence. The production is expected to plan the actor’s return based on medical advice after the surgery.
The team is expected to provide an update on NTR’s recovery and shooting schedule following the procedure.
