Television actress Nia Sharma has shared a glimpse of her Sawan celebrations, revealing that she is visiting a temple every Monday during Shravan on her mother’s advice.
The Naagin actress took to social media to share pictures from her temple visit and wrote, “Happy Sawan ki Shivratri Om namah shivaaya! Mummy ne bola hai sharavan ke 4 somvaar mandir jaana hai…… to janaaa hai.”
In the pictures, Nia was seen carrying a puja thali and performing aarti. She also followed the tradition of whispering her wish into Nandi’s ears and was seen offering prayers to the Shiva Parivaar.
Known for her distinctive fashion choices, Nia opted for traditional attire during the visit. She wore a pink suit in one picture, while another showed her in a vibrant yellow-and-red ensemble.
Nia has frequently offered her followers glimpses of her spiritual side on social media. She also celebrates festivals including Ganesh Chaturthi, Diwali and Navratri with enthusiasm.
On the professional front, Nia was last seen in the comedy reality show Laughter Chefs – Unlimited Entertainment. She rose to prominence with Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai and Jamai Raja, and later featured in shows including Naagin 4, Ishq Mein Marjawan and Suhagan Chudail.
She has also participated in reality shows such as Khatron Ke Khiladi and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10.
Recently, Nia bid an emotional farewell to Laughter Chefs 3. Recalling her experience on the show, she described it as a place where she laughed the most over the past two years and left “a peace” of her heart.
In a social media post, she wrote that she would carry the show’s memories with her, adding that she had also become a better cook during her stint.
