Mrunal Thakur has been making headlines lately more for her personal life than her films. Despite being one of the busiest and most popular actresses in Indian cinema, the actress has increasingly found herself at the centre of dating rumours involving various celebrities.
Earlier this year, rumours surfaced that Mrunal Thakur was planning to marry Tamil star Dhanush. The reports claimed that Dhanush, who divorced his wife of 18 years, Aishwarya Rajinikanth, had started dating Mrunal and that their relationship had progressed to the point of marriage. However, the reports eventually turned out to be false.
More recently, Mrunal was linked to a cricketer who is reportedly nearly a decade younger than her. When she came across a social media post about the dating rumours, the actress was quick to react. “Where were we together? How? You guys are well educated, and yet you trust such gossip??” she wrote.
Mrunal appears to be growing increasingly tired of the constant speculation surrounding her personal life. While she did not respond as strongly to the earlier rumours involving Dhanush, her immediate and firm reaction to the latest dating reports suggests that she does not want such speculation to overshadow her professional work.
Mrunal Thakur had two Hindi releases and one Telugu release this year, although none of them made a major impact at the box office. She is now looking forward to her next big project, Raaka, in which she stars alongside Allu Arjun.
