Sankranthi 2027 is already shaping up to be a crowded festival season, with two multi-starrer projects confirmed to compete at the box office. Venkatesh and Nandamuri Kalyan Ram are currently acting together in director Anil Ravipudi’s upcoming film. The untitled project has already locked its release for Sankranthi 2027.
The shooting is progressing at a brisk pace, making the film’s Sankranthi release plans look firm. The combination of Venkatesh and Kalyan Ram is also expected to make the film one of the major attractions of the festival season.
Joining the race are Ravi Teja and Sree Vishnu, who are teaming up for the first time. The duo will play the lead roles in a fun-filled drama directed by Hasith Goli. The film is expected to go on floors this month.
Producer Dil Raju has reportedly given Hasith Goli a deadline to complete the shoot by December, with plans to release the film during Sankranthi 2027. If the schedule stays on track, this film is also expected to be a confirmed Sankranthi release.
This sets up an interesting multi-starrer competition between Venkatesh-Kalyan Ram and Ravi Teja-Sree Vishnu.
Chiranjeevi’s film with director Bobby is also targeting the Sankranthi 2027 season, although its release is yet to be confirmed. There is also speculation that Nagarjuna could bring his 100th film for the festival.
For now, however, the Venkatesh-Kalyan Ram and Ravi Teja-Sree Vishnu projects appear to be the two films firmly positioned for Sankranthi 2027.
