New Ducati Monster India Launch Price Rs 13.99 Lakh – 4kg Less, 111 PS, Monocoque

has just launched the 5th Generation Monster in India. It still sticks with the fun, light and agile formula, but is perfected into its 5th generation avatar. The launch price for India is Rs 13.99 lakh (Ex-sh) for the base Standard variant and Rs 14.34 lakh (Ex-sh) for higher spec Monster + variant.

Ducati Monster entered its 5th generation avatar in 2026 and has won the prestigious Red Dot Design Award – Product Design 2026. 5th Gen Ducati Monster preserves its distinct identity and is instantly recognisable as the Monster. For India, 2026 Ducati Monster is offered in Ducati Red, Iceberg White and Sport Livery colourways with both Monster and Monster + variants.

Both Iceberg White and Sport Livery command a slight price increment over Ducati Red with both Monster and Monster + variants. With Monster +, exclusive elements include a flyscreen at the front and then a rear pillion seat cowl for cleaner aesthetics. With 2026 Monster, we can see a new bison-back fuel tank design which lends a muscular and aggressive stance.

What’s New?

Reworked side body panels along with bolder Monster badges and the new twin exhaust setup are notable elements as well. A new LED headlight setup can be seen with 5th Gen Monster which is slightly redesigned with revised LED DRL signature. The bike is equipped with a monocoque chassis where the engine naturally acts as a stressed member.

We can see premium components with 5th Gen Ducati Monster. Suspension components are from Showa at both ends, Brembo constitutes braking hardware with M4.32 radial callipers biting on dual 320 mm disc setup and connecting this bike to the tarmac are Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV. Seat height has gone down by 5 mm at 815 mm kerb weight (without fuel) has gone down by 4 kg, weighing 175 kg.

For the first time, Ducati Monster gets keyless go, while bi-directional quickshifter and cruise control are offered as standard. A 6-axis IMU is part of the package and the most notable electronic rider aids are cornering ABS, wheelie control, engine braking control and traction control. A 5-inch TFT instrument cluster and four riding modes are notable too.

Powering the 2026 Ducati Monster is a new 890cc V2 engine, shared with Panigale V2 and Multistrada V2. This engine is rated at 111 PS and 91.1 Nm, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. There’s intake variable timing and valve clearance maintenance at 45,000 km interval.
