Nagarjuna on why trailers matter

Nagarjuna also addressed the enormous expectations surrounding film trailers today. He explained that audiences often use a trailer as their first introduction to a film and decide whether they want to watch it based on that glimpse.

“As far as people’s expectations are concerned, it is only natural. Whether it’s an Indian, Hollywood or Korean film, you look at the trailer first and figure out whether it is something that you actually want to watch,” he said. According to Nagarjuna, the importance of trailers has grown significantly over the years, with the right preview capable of influencing the audience’s interest in a film even before its release. “So, trailers have become very important. And they make a lot of difference to the opening of any film,” he added.
