Actor Yash has come forward in support of Kiara Advani after she faced criticism on social media over her intimate scenes in the song ‘Tabahi’ from the upcoming film Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups.

During the film’s trailer launch event in Bengaluru, Yash addressed the criticism indirectly and encouraged Kiara to stay focused on her craft instead of worrying about public reactions.

Yash’s Message Amid Kiara’s Online Backlash

Yash said that actors should not let fear of criticism affect their creative choices. He advised Kiara to continue doing what she believes in and said audiences eventually appreciate genuine efforts.

“Don’t worry about the difficulties you might face. Just do what you believe in. People will celebrate and appreciate it. It’s simply that we are a bit ahead of our time,” Yash said. His statement came after sections of social media criticised Kiara’s appearance and scenes with Yash in the song ‘Tabahi’.

Yash Praises Kiara’s Work And Dedication

Apart from addressing the controversy, Yash praised Kiara’s contribution to the film. He said he had personally witnessed her dedication and hard work during the making of Toxic.

The actor recalled that there were initial concerns about managing a large ensemble cast, but praised Kiara for staying committed to her role and remaining grounded throughout the process. Yash described Kiara as a dedicated performer who gave her complete effort to the character.
