People’s Health Deteriorates After Consuming The Prasad
According to information, a person in the middle locality of Sardiha village had organised a Satyanarayan puja on the occasion of Buddha Purnima like previous years. After the worship, a large number of neighbours consumed the prasad. The next day, those who ate the prasad began to feel unwell, prompting a medical situation in the village.
Initially, the villagers thought it was a common illness and sought treatment on their own. However, the number of patients complaining of vomiting and diarrhoea gradually increased. Within three days, dozens of people fell ill, and reports of illness from almost every family began to surface, raising concerns among the villagers.
Earlier in May this year, over 250 children fell ill after consuming the midday meal at a government school in Mahishi Block. Children were taken to the local hospital, where they received treatment.
