Indore: Police said on Saturday that two people have been arrested for sexual abuse from a 17 -year -old girl in Indore district of Madhya Pradesh. The case came to light when a child born to the victim was found unclaimed in an industrial area under the jurisdiction of Banganga police station in the district, after which the investigation started and the incident was revealed.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP, Zone 3) Rajesh Vyas said, “We got information on the phone on 15 September that a newborn child was found near Shivkant Nagar, an industrial area of Banganga police station area. Police reached the spot while taking action on the information, rescued the child and admitted to the hospital. Since the child was found in the hospital, hence the case was found under Section 93 of the Indian Justice (BNS). It went on that the newborn belongs to the family of the same person who initially informed the police. ”
The official said, “After this, the woman police counseling the victim and the family and recorded the statement. The victim told the police that the child is the result of physical abuse by two people named Arbaaz and Salman, who works in that factory, as well as stated that one of her relatives also did wrong things with her. Police have arrested Arbaaz and Salman in this case and scientific evidence is being collected.”
He added, “Since the case is related to a minor girl, the sections of the Poxo Act have also been added in the case. At the same time, efforts are also on to catch an accused in the case. The police will also ensure that the case should be heard soon so that the victim can get justice. The condition of the newborn is stable. In this case, there are a total of three accused, two of which are arrested and the remaining one.
