Ramayana, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, is releasing on Diwali 2026, but what is the exact date? Many have been speculating this for months now. There were reports that the trailer would reveal the exact date of Ramayana’s release. However, the makers kept it a secret. According to a news portal’s latest report, Ramayana is confirmed to release in November. The date is special to the lead actor, Ranbir Kapoor. Though fans calculated that Ramayana’s release would be on November 8, considering Kapoor’s favourite number, the date has a different connection with him.

According to Bollywood Hungama’s report , is releasing on November 6. A source close to the development informed the portal, “The buzz for Ramayana is tremendous and hence, it’ll surely open with a bang. From Monday, November 9, the sky will be the limit for the film.”

In February this year, Ranbir did an Instagram live session with his fans on ARK’s page. He revealed that Ramayana will be releasing on his daughter . She was born to him and Alia Bhatt on November 6, 2022.

At San-Diego Comic-Con 2026, said Ramayana will be Raha’s first film in theatres. In various interviews, the actor credited his daughter for pushing him towards understanding the core of the Hindu epic and saying yes to play Shri Ram on the big screen. “I want my children to know Ramayana so that they know more about our Indian mythology and cultural heritage,” Kapoor said before adding that he is looking forward to watching the film with Raha.

However, after Raha’s birth, things changed for him and he added, “That fear very quickly turned into gratitude because opportunities like this was needed very much in my life.
