Kolkata: Stocks to Watch Today. The market fluctuated on Wednesday but managed to close with both benchmark indices Sensex 30 and Nifty 50 in the green.

After a steady start, the Nifty remained under pressure for most of the day. Experts say that technically, the Nifty remains above the crucial support zone of 24,350-24,400, indicating that the market’s bullish structure remains intact. Big investments, significant deals and Q1 results will attract the attention of investors. Investors will be watching several  during Thursday’s trading session. Let’s have a closer look.

Q1FY27 results to be announced today

Several major companies will be announcing their Q1 results today. These include Hero MotoCorp, Life Insurance Corporation of India, Lupin, Britannia Industries, Apollo Tyres, Blue Star, Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals, Edelweiss Financial Services, EIH, Emcure Pharmaceuticals, Finolex Industries, Samvardhana Motherson International, Muthoot Microfin, NCC, Premier Energies, Sai Life Sciences, Trent, Vijaya Diagnostic Centre and Vikram Solar.

Stocks in focus

Cohens Lifesciences: The USFDA inspected the company’s manufacturing unit in Pashamylaram, Hyderabad, between July 27 and August 5, 2026. Following the inspection, the company received a Form FDA 483, which contained five observations. None of these observations related to data integrity.

RMC Switchgears: The company has received orders totaling Rs 344.10 crore with the largest order being 12 Letters of Acceptance (LoA) from Paschim Gujarat Vij Company (PGVCL) valued at Rs 333.80 crore. The LoA received from PGVCL is for a turnkey contract that includes site survey, designing, engineering, procurement, supply, loading, transportation, unloading, insurance, delivery to site, handling, storage, installation, testing, commissioning and documentation of all goods and materials required for the completion of the work.

Meenakshi India: Alchemy Long Term Ventures Fund – Series 3, managed by Alchemy Capital Management, bought 1.15 lakh shares (or 1.02% stake) for Rs 4.56 crore at a price of Rs 396.65 per share.

Sapphire Foods India: RAMS Equities Portfolio Fund bought 1.77 million shares (or 0.55% stake) in Sapphire Foods for Rs 35.41 crore at a price of Rs 200.06 per share. Meanwhile, PI Opportunities AIF V LLP sold 16.57 lakh shares worth Rs 33.16 crore at Rs 200.10 per share, while Pioneer Investment Fund Scheme II sold 17 lakh shares worth Rs 34 crore at Rs 200 per share. Together, these two Premji Invest-backed companies sold more than 1 percent of the company’s stake.

Apollo Pipes: Promoter Dhruv Gupta bought an additional 2.35 lakh shares (or 0.53% stake) in Apollo Pipes for Rs 12.6 crore at a price of Rs 536.20 per share.

Pratap Snacks: Authum Investment & Infrastructure bought 2.17 lakh shares (or 0.91% stake) in Pratap Snacks for Rs 25.45 crore at a price of Rs 1,169.99 per share.

Rajgor Castor Derivatives: Unicorn Fund decided to exit the company by selling its remaining 2% stake (or 4.8 lakh shares). These shares were sold at a price of Rs 32.80 per share for Rs 1.57 crore. The fund had sold a 3.75% stake in the previous session. These shares were purchased by Rameshchandra Madanlal Rathi, who purchased 4.74 lakh shares at the same price in a deal worth Rs 1.55 crore.

Silky Overseas, Invicta Diagnostic: Pine Oak Global Fund decided to exit Silky Overseas by selling its entire 2.61% stake (1.66 lakh shares). These shares were sold at a price of Rs 72.26 per share for Rs 1.2 crore. The buyer was Birchwood Multi-Strategy Fund Open-Ended PCC Limited – Birchwood Global Alpha Fund. Birchwood Global Alpha Fund also acquired a 1.54 percent stake (1.93 lakh shares) in Invicta Diagnostics from Pine Oak Global Fund at a price of Rs 73.79 per share for Rs 1.42 crore.

Indigrade Infrastructure Trust: The Singapore government sold a 2.93% stake in Indigrade Infrastructure Trust. Domestic institutions and asset managers were the main buyers. The transaction was valued at Rs 486.14 crore at a price of Rs 174 per unit. Prior to this transaction, the Singapore government held a 7.36% stake in Indigrade, making it the largest unitholder in the trust, as of the June 2026 quarter. Buyers in IndiGrid Infrastructure Trust included Neo Group, National Pension System (NPS) Trust, Nippon India Mutual Fund, Goldman Sachs Bank Europe SE, Askwa Income Opportunities AIF, Indian Energy Exchange, Alpha Alternatives MSAR LLP, KRBL, Bharti AXA Life Insurance Company and Citigroup Global Markets Mauritius.
