India Medal Tally at Commonwealth Games 2026: Full List of Gold, Silver and Bronze Winners

India had a stupendous outing at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. India finished fourth in the overall medal standings at the Commonwealth Games 2026 with a total of 39 medals comprising 13 gold, 17 silver and nine bronze.

The Indian contingent delivered a resilient performance despite competing in a significantly reduced sports programme that excluded several traditional medal-winning disciplines such as wrestling, badminton, table tennis, hockey and shooting.

Around 122 athletes took part across the available able-bodied and para events held from 23 July to 2 August. Boxing emerged as the standout success story. The Indian pugilists produced a record-breaking haul of 10 medals, including an unprecedented seven gold medals and three silvers, to top the boxing medal table.

Gold medals were secured by Preeti Pawar, Jaismine Lamboria, Sakshi Chaudhary, Priya Ghanghas, Arundhati Choudhary, Sachin Siwach and Ankush Panghal, while Lovlina Borgohain, Jadumani Singh and Narender Berwal claimed silver.

Mirabai shine in Weightlifting

Weightlifting contributed eight medals, led by Mirabai Chanu who won gold in the women’s 48 kg category to complete a hat-trick of Commonwealth Games titles. Athletics added 10 medals through five silvers and five bronzes. Neeraj Chopra took silver in the men’s javelin throw, Praveen Chithravel and Selva Prabhu finished one-two in the men’s triple jump, and Gulveer Singh became the first Indian to win two athletics medals at a single edition of the Games.

A Historic Judo Outing

Judo produced a historic best with four medals. Asmita Dey and Harsh Singh became India’s first Commonwealth Games judo champions by winning gold in the women’s 48 kg and men’s 60 kg categories respectively. Para athletes also excelled with a record seven medals including three golds, two silvers and two bronzes, matching India’s combined para medal tally from all previous editions and ending a long drought in para athletics.

India’s best CWG outing was in New Delhi 2010

The best performance remains the 2010 New Delhi Games with 101 medals and a second-place finish, the only time India has ranked higher than third. The country has finished in the top five at every Games since 2002.
