While she later clarified her “gutter-chaap” comment, it has continued to be discussed online. Amid the debate, she has shared a Friendship Day note for her Gen-Z friends. The Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata actress took to her Instagram handle to recall a conversation she had with two Gen-Z girls she met at the gym. She said that everyone has the right to live life the way they want, as long as they are not pushing others to their deaths.

She said that they discussed how social media, dating apps and AI have become a part of everyday life for their generation. “Most of us are using them and some of us can’t live differently now. Everyone wants the freedom to live their life the way they want,” the girls told her.
She added: “I told curious young women that yes, you are free to live your life as long as you don’t throw others’ children off the cliff, or cut them into many pieces. Since there are too many cases where liberal way of life and conservative way of life is clashing and too many children are getting killed for no fault of theirs and it’s a big concern for us, they agreed that freedom needs accountability.”

For those unversed, Kangana recently slammed Gen-Z women and called them a , amid the student protests at Jantar Mantar over the NEET-UG paper leak scandal.

Later, she said that her comments were directed towards protesters trying to influence India’s youth and “displaying immoral and unruly behaviour.” She also spoke about discipline and dignity while criticising those who made objectionable remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and used abusive language.
