Niharika Chouksey Opens Up About Monsoon Commute Challenges While Filming ‘Tumm Se Tumm Tak’

Television actress Niharika Chouksey says Mumbai’s monsoon season may be beautiful, but it also brings significant challenges, especially for those travelling daily to work. The actress revealed that reaching the sets of her television show Tumm Se Tumm Tak has become increasingly difficult due to waterlogging across the city.

Niharika, who plays the character Anu in the show, said she enjoys the rainy season but acknowledged that the heavy showers disrupt daily routines and make commuting a struggle.

“We all enjoy the monsoon, but it definitely comes with its drawbacks. Everyone has to get to work, and commuting becomes quite difficult. For me too, reaching the set has literally become a task because there is waterlogging in so many places,” she said.

Despite the inconvenience, the actress said the cast and crew remain committed to ensuring viewers continue to receive quality entertainment.

“There are a lot of challenges, but at the end of the day, we have to ensure that we deliver a good show for our audience. These are the efforts we happily put in,” she added.

Niharika also spoke about managing long shooting schedules during the rainy season. Describing herself as a food enthusiast, she said she always keeps light snacks such as dried cranberries and bhujia with her. She also enjoys sharing chana jor garam mixed with onions, cucumber, tomatoes and lemon with her colleagues during breaks between shoots.

The actress admitted that maintaining a healthy eating routine is often difficult because television shoots frequently extend late into the night.

She said she often skips breakfast after finishing dinner late due to work commitments but still makes a conscious effort to maintain a balanced diet despite her demanding schedule.
