Karan Wahi is one of the 13 celebrities who have participated in Khatron Ke Khiladi 15. The actor recently returned from Cape Town after shooting for the reality show. Ahead of KKK15‘s grand premiere, Zoom/ TellyTalk did an exclusive interview with Karan, who spoke about developing and overcoming fears on the show. While the actor overcame his fear of heights, he developed a new fear of being underwater on Khatron Ke Khiladi 15. Other than that, he reflected on reuniting with Gaurav Khanna after a long time. The actors have known each other for 20 years.
Karan Wahi talks about his new fear
Speaking exclusively to us, admitted that he didn’t get scared of many things this time on Khatron Ke Khiladi. The actor stated that he has a lot of issues with heights. “I don’t go on rides. I am that guy and friend who takes your photographs. I have travelled so much with Rithvik (Dhanjani). Whatever stunts we did, it was fun for Rithvik. This adventure was fun for him. This was a punishment for me (laughs),” he said in Hindi, adding that he has overcome his fear of heights.
As the conversation continued, the actor spoke about his new fear, which is about being underwater. “It’s not that I can’t go underwater. I realised on Khatron Ke Khiladi that I am the person who takes hot showers even in summer,” he added.
Karan further recalled extreme weather conditions during the KKK15 shoot. “We were in South Africa, where it was 3 to 5 degrees; it was raining. And in that weather, to go inside cold and freezing water… I have developed a fear of that. You can call it fear or my mind doesn’t work. My body doesn’t work,” the actor shared.
Karan Wahi on reuniting with Gaurav Khanna
Other than discussing his fears, Karan opened up about reuniting with Gaurav Khanna after a long time. The actor revealed that they’ve known each other for 20 years and they lived in the same building. However, they couldn’t meet each other much as Karan later shifted somewhere else.
“This season, you will get to see Gaurav’s different avatar – calm and very righteous in his own way. It was unfortunate that he was sick in between because of the change in weather. It was fun to spend time with him. He did well,” he said, and signed off.
