The countdown to Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 has begun, and excitement is at an all-time high as the stunt-based reality show gears up for its grand premiere on August 1. Among the contestants grabbing attention this season is Jasmin Bhasin, who is all set to face her fears once again under the guidance of filmmaker and host Rohit Shetty. Ahead of the show’s launch, Jasmin spoke exclusively to Telly Talk India/Times Now, where she opened up about her bond with Rohit Shetty, laughed off fake elimination rumours that surfaced during filming, and addressed the emotional promo that showed her breaking down during a stunt.
Jasmin Bhasin says Rohit Shetty gave her a special invitation
Speaking about meeting Rohit Shetty again, Jasmin had nothing but praise for the filmmaker. According to her, the happiness of seeing him was mutual, and she got a special invitation too. The actress said, “Rohit sir toh bahut sweet hain. I think jitni unko dekh ke main khush thi, utne shayad woh bhi the. He was very happy. Unhone toh mujhe agle season mein phir bola hai, ‘Aa jaana.'”
(Translation: Rohit sir is very sweet. I think I was just as happy to see him as he was to see me. He was very happy and even jokingly invited me to return for the next season.)

Jasmin also reacted to the fake elimination reports that frequently circulated while was being filmed. She revealed that the contestants often found the rumours amusing. She recalled, “Mujhe maza aata tha kyunki hum log sab aapas mein baithe hote the, stunt kar rahe hote the ya set pe hote the. Matlab (koi bolta tha) ‘Arey arey dekh, ye dekh, news hai ki tu toh out ho gaya.’ The former Bigg Boss 14 contestant then asked, “Jhoothi khabrein kaun phailata rehta hai? Woh rumours kaun phailata hai, kya hua, kaise hua? This is a complete journey which you will completely enjoy.”
(Translation: It was actually funny because we would all be sitting together on set when someone would say, ‘Look, the news says you’ve been eliminated.’ We would laugh because we were all together. I don’t know who spreads these rumours, but viewers will enjoy the entire journey.)

The actress also addressed the emotional promo that showed her crying during one of the challenges. Jasmin clarified that while viewers have already seen her emotional moment, it does not define her entire journey on the show. Addressing her fans, she said, “Guys, bahut mehnat karni padi inko mujhe rulane ke liye. Wapas mujhe apne ghutnon pe rote bilakhte hue karne ke liye itni aasani se nahi royi main. But it is just the beginning. Maine apne saare, mostly stunts hanste-hanste kiye hain. Woh aapko dekhne ko milega 1 August se.”
(Translation: It took a lot to make me cry. I wasn’t easily reduced to tears. Most of my stunts were completed with a smile, and viewers will get to see that from August 1.)
Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 premieres on August 1 and will air every Saturday and Sunday at 9 pm on Colors TV, while also streaming on JioHotstar. With the theme Darr Ka Naya Daur, the new season promises tougher stunts, high-pressure challenges and unexpected twists, all set against the scenic backdrop of Cape Town, South Africa. New contestants will be seen competing with new ones.
This season features a star-studded contestant lineup including Jasmin Bhasin, Gaurav Khanna, Rubina Dilaik, Rithvik Dhanjani, Avika Gor, Avinash Mishra, Harsh Gujral, Vishal Aditya Singh, Shagun Sharma, Ruhaanika Dhawan, Farrhana Bhatt and Orhan Awatramani (Orry), making it one of the most anticipated editions of the reality show.
