Veteran actor Nitish Bharadwaj was full of praise after watching the Ramayana trailer, calling it a landmark moment for Indian cinema. He expressed confidence that the film has the potential to earn international acclaim and applauded filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari’s vision.

Bharadwaj also praised the performances of Ranbir Kapoor and Yash, while comparing Ranbir Kapoor with Ranveer Singh. He welcomed Yash to what he described as “global cinema.” “Ranbir now at par with Ranveer as the next 2 unbeatable Dhurandhars. Yash – welcome to global cinema.”
Beyond appreciating Ranbir Kapoor’s acting, Bharadwaj urged the actor to embrace the responsibility that comes with portraying . He also expressed hope that the actor would choose roles reflecting India’s cultural heritage in the future.
He said that portraying Lord Ram comes with a greater responsibility to uphold India’s heritage, values and culture. He urged the actor to choose roles that reflect those ideals, adding, “So no more ANIMAL even if the goldmine is offered to you. Plz do not pollute your Vaani anymore. Bharat has enough stories to satiate your acting prowess.”
Bharadwaj also shared his wish that audiences wholeheartedly accept Sai Pallavi as Sita. He added that he hopes to hear the spiritual essence of the epic reflected in the film’s music. “I only hope that Bharateeyas will accept Sai Pallavi as Sita & I can also hear Tulsidas ji’s CHAUPAEES amidst Mridangam & Manjira somewhere in the film. That’s the sound identity of this Maha-Kavvya in every Bharateeya’s soul,” Bharadwaj wrote.
Concluding his note, Bharadwaj revealed that he intends to watch Ramayana several times as a tribute to Nitesh Tiwari’s years of hard work behind the ambitious project. “Will want to see RAMAYAN at least 5 times as my respect to Nitesh’s toil of making this magnum opus,” he added.
