Karishma Tanna and Varun Bangera have become parents to a baby boy. On the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima, the television actress and her husband were blessed with their first child. The duo shared this good news with fans on social media. Taking to her Instagram handle, the actress penned, “Born on the sacred day of Guru Purnima… Our greatest blessing is here. 29th July 2026. Welcome to our world, little one. Karishma & Varun.” She also posted a picture with a text that read, “It’s a boy.”

While sharing a cute photo with her husband Varun, the actress revealed that she was expecting her first child with him. “A little miracle, our greatest gift — August 2026,” she had penned. Earlier, in an interview with ETimes, Karishma had revealed that she never wanted to have a child early in life. She admitted that she never felt pressurised by discussions around how a woman’s biological clock starts ticking. “I wasn’t even sure whether I wanted to have a baby because there was too much on my plate. I wanted to work and I didn’t want to take on responsibilities. I was borderline not maternal. My life was only my husband, my dog, my mother, and my career,” she said.
The actress confessed that she never thought about the fact that her ‘biological clock’ was ticking. In fact, Karishma feels one should have a child as long as they are comfortable with it mentally and physically. “Gone are the days where you had to have a baby in your 20s or 30s. I always knew if it has to happen, it will happen,” the actress added.
