Jr NTR Sustains Shoulder Injury, Six To Eight Weeks Rest Advised

Jr NTR has his plate full with multiple exciting projects. The actor will be switching roles and juggling between diverse characters at least till the end of 2027. The film that he is currently working on is titled Dragon. Prashanth Neel is the director. Amid his chock-a-block schedule, Taarak, famously known as Jr NTR, sustained an injury. He is on the path to recovery and is advised complete rest for the next six to eight weeks. A statement from his medical team put concerned fans at ease and assured the actor is under good care.

In an official statement,  s medical team revealed, “Following a thorough medical evaluation, the team of doctors headed by Dr J. Madhusudan Rao and Dr R. A. Purnachandra Tejaswi has advised complete rest for six to eight weeks to ensure a smooth and complete recovery. We would like to assure everyone that there is absolutely no cause for panic. We will continue to share official updates regarding his health and recovery as and when appropriate. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.”

 is set in 1967 and revolves around the Golden Triangle and the opium trade. The film features intense clashes between the Afghan Trading Company and the Golden Trading Company. It is made under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers and NTR Arts. Also starring Rukmini Vasanth, Anil Kapoor, Biju Menon, Khushbu Sundar, Guru Somasundaram, Rajeev Kanakala, Ashutosh Rana, Anshuman Pushkar, Sidhant Gupta, Prabhas Srinu, Shatru, Shiva, Bhimal Jeet Oberoi, Ntuthuzelo Prince Grootboom, Aleksandr Mizev and Benedict Paul Garrett, Dragon releases on June 11, 2027, in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.

According to reports, Jr NTR has come on board for Rs 100 crore plus remuneration. Reportedly, his usual fee is between Rs 50 and 80 crore, but for Dragon, he is said to be earning a figure in the range of Rs 120 and Rs 150 crore.

After Dragon, Jr NTR will be collaborating with  on his upcoming film. The first teaser poster was presented socially on June 29. Based on Lord Murugan, the movie faced opposition for claiming he was ‘born in the North’.

Jr NTR is also expected to start shooting for Devara 2 with Janhvi Kapoor in the lead. The first part received mixed reviews and feedback. The timeline of Devara 2’s shoot hasn’t been disclosed yet.
