Srinivasa Mangapuram’ Family Upset With Mahesh Babu

Mahesh Babu’s nephew, Jayakrishna Ghattamaneni, the son of late Ramesh Babu, is making his acting debut with Srinivasa Mangapuram, which is set to release this week.

A grand pre-release event has been planned, but surprisingly, Mahesh Babu will not be attending it. Instead, he released a video message urging his fans to support his nephew’s debut film.

When the reason for his absence was discussed, it was initially mentioned that SS Rajamouli’s Varanasi team had an understanding with Mahesh Babu that he should avoid public appearances until the film’s release.

However, when Rajamouli’s team was contacted, they clarified that there was no such agreement or restriction from their side. They also pointed out that supporting a young actor, especially a family member, would never be an issue.

Adding to the curiosity is the fact that Mahesh Babu continues to shoot for nearly 25 commercial advertisements without any restrictions.

He has also recorded a video byte for Srinivasa Mangapuram appealing his fans to support. This naturally raises the question that if he could appear in a video to promote the film, what prevented him from attending the event in person?

The development has left many Mahesh Babu fans puzzled. While his video message appeals them to support Jayakrishna, his absence from the event has led some fans to wonder whether it signals a degree of distance.

The fact that Mahesh is in Hyderabad during the event period has only added to the discussion.

Industry sources close to Mahesh Babu maintain that he shares a warm relationship with his late brother Ramesh Babu’s children and is very fond of them.

Even so, the reason behind his absence from such an important family occasion has become a topic of conversation in Film Nagar, giving rise to several speculations. Who or what must be stopping him is the burning topic in some sections.
