After Sanjay Dutt announced a sequel to the cult classic Khalnayak, fans have received another exciting update. It has now been confirmed that Jackie Shroff will return for the sequel.
In a recent interview, Jackie also opened up about reuniting with his longtime friend and co-star Sanjay Dutt.
In an interview with India Today, Jackie Shroff said, “Excellent! I’m waiting for it. 100%. Commissioner has to be there, right? Commissioner toh hoga na (There must be a Commissioner, right?).” The actor also shared that he has had discussions about the film with the film’s producer and Sanjay Dutt, adding, “Yes, I’ve spoken to Subhash ji, the producer and Sanju Baba.”
Sunjay Dutt revealed first look of Khalnayak Returns on April 24 and it has impressed fans and critics alike. The excitement was amplified by the nostalgic echo of Khal Nayak Hoon Main playing in the background, bringing back memories of the iconic film when an anti-hero was introduced in the industry. Sharing the announcement, Dutt wrote, “Kuch kahaani khatam nahi hoti⦠woh dobara shuru hoti hai. Khalnayak Returns.”
