Jana Nayagan Makers DELETE Anandhi Ajay’s Scene From Vijay Film, Actress Breaks Down

Jana Nayagan has finally arrived in theatres after months of delays, drawing massive crowds as fans celebrated what is widely believed to be Thalapathy Vijay’s final film in the light of his full-time political journey. While the film has opened to an impressive box office response, one actor has been left heartbroken following its release. Tamil television actress Anandhi Ajay revealed that her scenes were removed from the final cut of the film after she spent nearly a year working on the project. Sharing an emotional video on social media, the actress broke down in tears.

Tamil actress Anandhi Ajay took to social media to share an emotional video after discovering that her scenes had been deleted from the final version of Jana Nayagan. Visibly emotional, Anandhi said she had dedicated nearly a year to working on the film and was looking forward to appearing alongside Vijay on the big screen. However, after watching the released version, she realised that her portions had been removed.

Translated into English, Anandhi said, “I worked on this film for a year. I was so excited to share the screen with Vijay sir, but my scene has been removed.” She also shared her disappointment in the caption of the post, writing, “Jananayagan deleted scene. Feeling unlucky.” The actress also expressed regret that she may never get another opportunity to work with Vijay, as   has been promoted as the superstar’s final film before he shifts his focus to politics.

Anandhi Ajay is a familiar face on Tamil television and has appeared in several popular serials, including Karthigai Pengal, Yamuna, Kana Kaanum Kaalangal and Kallikattu Pallikoodam. Apart from acting, she is also a trained classical dancer and has participated in dance reality shows such as Dance Jodi Dance 3.0, Jodi No. 1 Seasons 6 and 7, and Maanada Mayilada Season 7. The actress has a sizeable online following with more than 3 lakh followers on Instagram. She shares dance performances and fitness-related content, including yoga, on social media.

Directed by H. Vinoth, Jana Nayagan is touted to be . The film is produced by KVN Productions and features an ensemble cast including Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, Mamitha Baiju and several others. The music has been composed by Anirudh Ravichander. The film was originally scheduled for release in January but faced multiple delays before finally reaching theatres.

Jana Nayagan has registered a strong opening at the box office. According to trade website Sacnilk, the Vijay-starrer earned an estimated Rs 41 crore net in India on its opening day, taking its India gross collection to Rs 48.27 crore. The film also performed strongly overseas, collecting approximately Rs 30 crore internationally. As a result, its worldwide opening-day gross has reached an estimated Rs 78.27 crore.
