Mumbai-based model-turned-actress Kadambari Jethwani has strongly denied the allegations made against her in the Andhra Pradesh Crime Investigation Department chargesheet and asserted that the truth would ultimately prevail.
In an emotional public letter, Jethwani described the allegations in the CID chargesheet as baseless and claimed that her version of events had not been adequately considered during the investigation.
She alleged that she and her family had suffered severe hardship over the past two-and-a-half years because of what she described as false accusations.
Expressing confidence in the judicial process, Jethwani said the facts would eventually come to light and that her name would be completely cleared.
She also demanded that media organisations which, according to her, had published false reports about the case issue public apologies once the truth was established.
Jethwani’s statement comes days after the Andhra Pradesh CID filed a chargesheet against her in connection with allegations involving businessman Kukkala Vidyasagar.
The matter remains under judicial consideration, and the allegations made by both sides are yet to be decided by the court.
